The Hertford Manual Recliner Sofa is operated by a catch/handle control situated on the side of the sofa which allows you to raise or lower the footrest, once raised, you can then ease yourself back and recline the backrest to your desired position...sit forward and the backrest will automatically return to the upright position. Both sides of the sofa recline.
