Dual Motor Riser Recliner Chairs
The old concept of a Riser Recliner Chairs as the huge unsightly piece of furniture that overshadowed your living space has long since gone and has now been replaced with modern sleek chairs that will grace any home.
The outdated and unappealing idea of an old-fashioned huge riser recliner chair sitting in the middle of your living space is no longer accepted. Now you can buy a rise and recline chair that is sleek, modern and stylish, upholstered in a huge choice of bright colourful fabrics or leathers that will match and enhance your own decor.
Gone are the old-style recliner mechanisms that as you put your feet up the back automatically reclined (whether you wanted it to or not) now, there are Dual Motor Riser Recliner Chairs that operate the footrest and backrest independently. As the name suggests, there are two motors, one for the footrest and another for the backrest. With the Dual Motor option, you can operate the footrest and backrest totally independently of each other using the simple touch button hand control. You can raise or lower the footrest to any height you like and you can recline the backrest to any angle you like...the choice is yours.
Having two motors allows you to sit with your legs raised and the backrest in the upright position, or you can recline to an almost flat sleeping position. You can even sit with your feet flat on the floor and recline back, such is the versatility of a Dual Motor Riser Recliner Chair.
The handset not only controls the recliner operation but when you want to stand up, you can press the rise button and the chair will gently and safely raise you into a standing position. You can stop the movement of the chair at any point simply by releasing the button...you are in total control.
So there you have it, even though they are more expensive. Dual Motor Riser Recliner Chairs are the best on the market, they give you more flexibility in the seated and reclined positions and you have the option of the sleeping position.
Elderly and disabled users find the flexibility of the Dual Motor Chair advantageous and they are always a popular choice.
Single Motor Riser Recliner Chair
If you're in need of a Riser Recliner Chair, often referred to as Reclining Chairs for the Elderly, that will help you sit or stand, but are not needing the full recliner function of a dual motor riser chair, take a look at the single motor riser recliner. These chairs are designed to lift and lower you with just one touch - whether it's yourself adjusting it or an assistant trying to help. When considering which model to purchase, consider what matters most: comfort and ease of use are important! But don't forget about the ease of exiting from the chair - there's nothing worse than struggling to get out of a chair. The simple touch button control will ease you into a standing position with no effort from you at all.
A two-button hand control operates all the functions of the chair. The footrest, the backrest and also the riser function. Whilst this means you will only have 2 buttons on the handset and the price is less than a dual motor chair there are limitations to the help it will give you. When compared to a double motor model which can recline to an almost flat position for optimal comfort, the single motor models will recline to an approximately 45-degree angle only.
British Manufacturers such as Celebrity Furniture give the option of either Single Motor or Dual Motor with all their Riser Recliner Chairs and in all sizes.
